Mental Health Award

Carnegie Mental Health Award for Schools: 

The Carnegie Centre of Excellence for Mental Health in Schools has developed the School Mental Health Award to give schools a framework for whole school mental health development.  

Willingham Primary School are working towards and committed to achieving this award as a reflection of our approach to mental health and the school recognises the link between positive mental health and successful educational outcomes. 

The eight areas of focus for the award are: Leadership and Strategy, Structure and Culture – staff, Structure and Culture – Pupils, Support for Staff, Support For Pupils, Staff Professional Development and Learning. We are working towards achieving all areas and will update our website once we have completed the award!
